There is a ton of cats that constantly pass through my garden and to be honest I normally don't really pay much attention but this one caught my eye today. I have seen it a few times and I'm not sure if it has an owner. It appears to have something wrong with its tail and has gunky eyes.
It is quite a fat cat so it either has an owner or everyone feeds it I can't take it in to have a look at it because it will greatly upset my own cats.

Is there anything I can do to help it?

It looks like it has a ruptured abscess on its tail. It really needs antibiotics if thats the case or the area cleaned. But of course that is difficult if you can't catch it and also, ££££. Could you contact your local cats protection league?

That looks sore, poor cat. The gunky eyes don't bode well either.

Cats protection I think.

Will they be able to do anything? There's so many cats around here it may be hard to find

Hopefully they can trap and treat.
