He's only 1.75 years old. They don't know why. He was vomiting each day and nothing the vet tried worked so he was referred to the vet hospital. During a sonogram, they found a mass in his intestine - either severe ibs or lymphoma. They operated to get a biopsy. Unfortunately, whatever was wrong with him meant the biopsy site kept leaking. He had two surgeries to clean him out and patch him up but it was too much for the poor thing. He suffered cardiac arrest this morning and they couldn't bring him back.
I've been lucky to never lose anyone close to me so this is especially sad. It was so unexpected. I just feel empty. Luckily, baby is keeping me going!

I'm so sorry for you, usually you can prepare yourself when they get old, but not what happened to your wonderful young cat. It's like part of your soul dies with them, my thoughts are with you xx
