Please tell me it's not cruel to wait until DH gets home from work so that he can get the tick out of Licorice's back. I have the tick hook ready and everything ...

Please ...

He'll be home 45 minutes max.

What if he wasn't home this evening? Or this week, even?

No - you need to be able to do it yourself. Sorry.

Is it out now?

I've never had to do it, is it difficult?

Would I notice a tick on his back?

Cozietoesie - I know that really Blush

DH is in the Forces, so he does go away for upto 4 months, and I know that in a real pinch I would be able to do it ... But whilst there's someone less squeamish Envy (vom)

Anyhow, DH was home about 5 minutes after I posted, and with the help of some fishy Thrive cat treats, the nasty blood sucking critter was dispatched pronto.

On a side note, if you ever need your cat to do anything, Thrive treats are your friend. They're not cheap, but if you keep them for such occasions then it's not so bad.
