New kitten advice?

Hi you ladies were all so helpful when my cat crawled into my garden as a injured stray I thought I'd ask for advice again. I have become the owner of two kittens unexpectedly (don't ask im the softest touch in the world!) I already have previous cat, a dog (who loves all cats she's as soft as I am!) I also have three children dd15 ds5 ds8 months. So far they seem to be settling fine but what equipment/things should I buy? They are litter trained kind of, and seem healthy they have a vets appointment tonight for a check up is there anything I should ask particularly?
Thanks :)

Get their vaccinations done, ask vet about worming.

I use things like cardboard boxes and foil for kittens to play with. They love tunnels. Don't spend too much money on that sort of stuff, see what they like first.

Please, please also get all your animals neutered! Myself and my boyfriend foster cats with kittens for an animal charity and experience first hand the effects of people not neurering! We currently have 13 cats/kittens (far too many) as too many people want to have their cat to have kittens. So please do that! :-)

I guess by the time you get back here, the girls will have been to the vet. How did they get on?

Sarah, don't worry I will! Made a appointment for them today, my other cat is also neutered and my dog spayed.
I've also taken out health insurance, the company I'm with must love it when I call, they get a small fortune out of me.
Thanks for asking they got on great have a clean bill of health although one (calling her a at the moment, arguing with dd about names, think I should get to choose as she named her brother Grin) is a little thin so I've been advised on diet and told to try using a shallower dish does anyone have Any other suggestions? She is definitely eating less than her sister but very says she's healthy just needs time and encouragement.
Have sorted out flea/worm treatment and vaccinations also.
About sleeping do you think they will be ok to sleep with other cat? I mean in the same room? Dog sleeps with me, cat usually upstairs should I make sure they are separate by shutting a door? They seem to be getting on fine but I'm not sure. Cat just rules the house and has barely bothered looking at them.

If the vet says she's healthy then that's fine and I wouldn't worry unduly at the moment - they can take a little while to get the hang of it sometimes. See how it goes for a few days anyway.

I'd be cautious about them sleeping with the other cat right away if only because they might get a fit or three of kitten madness in the early hours when Big Cat, being older, is wanting to get some kip - so BC might get tetchy. Personally, I'd shut a door for tonight but others might be more optimistic.
