I'd keep at least one around for the time being after the kittens go - and for those wet autumn and winter nights. How many adults are you going to end up with?

Please keep the litter trays or they'll end up pooing all over the neighbour's gardens and you won't be popular!

Rhubarb I have fields all around my house & everybody on my street has at least 2 cats .

cozie I will have 4 once the two kittens have gone though i would love to have kept them all but im already verging on crazy so thought it best not to Grin

I've got one for emergency use only. Much preferable to have it than finding a jobby in the shower again.

crazy

I thought you had three kittens. Did one not make it? Sad

PS - keep a couple of trays for the time being. Plenty of cats actually prefer to use inside the house and you might as well wait and see if that's the case.

cozie sorry if I made it sound as though one didnt make it , they are all fine , big chubby balls of fluff Grin I just meant im keeping one of the kittens and the other two are going to family Smile

I will keep one tray in the downstairs loo but I really don't want to be cleaning 4 trays twice a day for the foreseable future

Phew! Grin

Yes - keep at least one tray as a working tray. (Having a few clean ones in a cupboard in reserve is always handy anyway for cleaning purposes and in the event of sickness/travel etc.)

Grin

I will keep my old trays in the cupboard for emergencies .

Thanks for the advice

They're actually incredibly handy household containers - just as much use as buckets. Never throw one away.

Keep them in overnight though, no one wants a squished cat.

Mine is locked in over night. And has a tray. Which she never uses.

And guess what will happen the first night you take it away?

Summer's just about here, smells are a-smelling and small creatures are stirring in the night undergrowth. Going to be real difficult to keep them in from now until the cold of Autumn.

They'll live.

You might be best not getting a flap yet because they'll drive you nuts banging it to get out.

Fluffy I won't be able to hear the cat flap as it will be on the kitchen door right at the back of the house

cozie I'm glad they go out as they really do love the garden jungle luckily they are not hunters much to soft they are often found playing with their Squirrel friend & chasing butterflies for hours at a time , the squirrel even comes up to the conservatory to call for them if they are not out grin
