I took my 8 month old kitten to be spayed today but she is home sooner than expected!
The vet discovered an arrhythmia and wasn't happy to give her a full anaesthetic, just in case the worse happened, which of course is fine.
Kitty is now booked in for an ECG next week to determine the way forward, but I'm wondering what will happen if anaesthetic is not advised thereafter.
I do want her spayed as we have already experienced two heat cycles, and I want her to be able to go outside with my other cats.
In herself she appears 'normal'...playful & completely nutty like you'd expect a kitten to be.
Anyone experienced anything similar?
Thank you.
