Wondering if I have a turkish van cat cross.

We got our cat from the rescue shelter. He was normal cat sized. We got him home and he's grown quite considerably and is now a very large kitty.

He is white with tabby markings and two patches on each side of his body - one is in a heart shape Smile He has green eyes.

His coat isn't the usual type of cat coat and it's very thick and dense. It's slightly longer than a shorthair.

His character is very friendly and bright. He loves being with us. He is very strong and powerful. He doesn't mind getting wet and will spend hours out in the rain and come in soaking.

I'm wondering if he's a turkish van cross.

I have a photo on my profile, but he's lying down, so you can't see his markings that well.

he is very pretty but is quite square and cobby turkish vans have very fine features with a heart shaped face, possibly he has some british short hair as they are quite big cats with cobby shape love your ginger boy he looks too innocent to be dangerous lol

Omg is it you with the stuffed cobra? Terrifying! What did you end up doing with it?. No idea if he's a bit Turkish Van but what a beautiful pair of cats you have, in the nicest possible way ginger cat looks very smug and entitled Grin
