This is the place to confess. I know you're out there - I've seen some of you admit to it. Xmas Grin I swoop Grey Kitten up into my arms and kiss her little velvety paws while she lies there purring. Tabby Boy does not enjoy it so much and often swipes his paw at me when he's had enough. He hooked my nostril once with his claw, which was painful.

I'll admit to kissing them on the top of their heads Xmas Smile but their paws... noooooo, but only because I'm too scared of getting clawed!

On of our does have very fluffy paws, so it is temptingXmas Grin

The Lion has very soft patty paws. In fact he's known as Patty sometimes because he loves to have his pads tickled and doesn't ever get his claws out at all except to claw the carpet or the Snowshoe

The Snowshoe is very swipey but after 5 years he will let me occasionally touch the top of the tip of his front paws (but not the back ones)

---known as Patty because he pats our hands while we tickle his pads.

I love the smell of my cat's paws! I think they smell like rich tea biscuits Blush. Has anyone else seen paw-pads referred to as 'jellybeans?' I think it's such a great name, all plump and squishy and yummy..

Only Bear will let me paw kiss. He has lovely big pink paw pads with the softest toe fluff. What I really love is the tummy kissing, though that is a rare treat. If I tried to kiss Owl's paws I would regret it I think, dd though would be allowed access, Im sure.

Oh me too, I do this!
Until recently I let him lick my nose but then I noticed him very diligently cleaning his penis and felt a little ill.
Mine lets me kiss his tummy too but that can quickly turn into a very unfunny joke when mid-kiss he decides he'd rather fasten his claws to my hair...

I kiss his head, and sides. Paws go in the litter tray though.

He lets me nuzzle his tummy too.

Off to the vet later to see if he has ringworm so I may live to regret it

Serious question, though. Would your kiss your loved ones' bare feet after they'd been for a barefoot walk in the garden and on the pavement and then licked the soles of their feet?

It is possible I am just overly squeamish.

Grin so you know I am happy to be flamed (and yes I like cats and dogs)

It doesnt seem mucky though when it's your pet.

I wont go near dh unless he is freshly showered. He know where he stands.

I kiss their heads and noses but not their feet - they've been in the litter tray! They would let me know, both cats very docile!

I kiss my kitty (almost) all over. Lovely silky ears and paws, fluffy tail and velvet nose. DS likes to kiss her mouth, which I do discourage sort of

My PaddingtonBear loves to be massaged between his toes. He spreads out his paws. He is a Persian so has lovely fluffy pads (toe tufts)

We are sulking with each other today because he refused to put on a Christmas hat for 2 seconds so I could take a photo. He is in his basket giving me the evil eye.

Today the scrumpitious kitten turned up on our doorstep at work with some facial injuries.
I have an entire workforce of secret paw kissers currently!!!! and we are hard vets and nurses.
The money is on nobody claiming her and we are all fighting about who will get the chance to give her a forever home.
I think that as I will fix her face it should be me!

Sorry, Lone. As a vet, your role is to take the ones that no-one else wants!

Awww. I want them all! [mad cat lady emoticon].
My vet has 9 cats. I am quite jealous of her.

I have one cat who sleeps with his paws in my hair, he loves having them kissed and massaged

stinkyfluffycat · 18/12/2012 17:57

I don't kiss their paws as they've been in the litter tray, but I do worship them (both the paws and the entire cats, but especially paws). I do love paws. Especially oversized paws on tiny kittens.

Although there is no logic to my not kissing paws as I spend far too much time kissing their furry heads, which they have just washed using the paws which have been in the litter tray and a quantity of cat - spit. I may as well start paw - kissing.

I'm most used to little brown paws and pads and I would certainly kiss those. Not too sure about the bright pink pads on others.

Hmm

Report
SantasBitch · 19/12/2012 00:03

I dont kiss the pads, I kiss the furry tops. Although the large tufts of fur poking through the pads look quite tempting...

No kissing, but DCat does let me make her ears go ping (press one gently down while stroking, then release, at the same time saying 'make your ears go ping!) [mad cat lady emoticon]

I have fixed the scrumptious kitten, but of course it is now compulsory that I kangaroo cuddle her post surgery to ensure a good recovery from GA.
