Spent 3 hours trying to collect pee from a cat.

Oh brother.

I take it you have a non co-operative cat?

Is he a litter tray user?

Yep - but I've never had that special litter you can use because I don't need to do it often. It's a strategically placed saucer job. Trouble is he just sat and looked at me. (Normally he'd have peed twice by 08.00 but not today.)

You get fed up wandering around with a saucer everywhere!

Why not just use an empty tray?

Never thought of that - but I'd lay odds he wouldn't use it. (Very fussy Sad) I'd probably end up having to squeeze some drops out of the duvet - and what that would do for test results I have no idea!

Did you get a sample though?

Oh yes,

Eventually. I won the battle of wills this time. (My batting average is not good though.)

Maybe you should put him in a nappy as you could then either use the liner or just count on his viewing the saucer/empty tray as it would be much less of an affront to his dignity... Wink

Good lord, i think you need to do a youtube video on this, i would have NO IDEA on how to go about getting a wee sample from our cat. He goes outdoors too, and HATES his tray. Glad you got it though!
