Does anyone else own one? Mine is a boy aged 2 and he just won't stop eating! Was wondering what kind of food you feed to your cat. I got some specialised food today as a treat (dried), he just never seems full up.

Ours is female and nearly 18. She has a mixture of Costco own brand dried food and wet food. When we are feeling indulgent, she has a Sheba dome - either chicken, tuna, or when she is very spoiled, tuna and prawn.

In between times, she demands food from us, going so far to stretch up and put a paw on the table, or a claw or 2 in the thigh - especially when it's roast chicken.

MIL has a few, some eat LOADS some aren't that fussed, they can be very different builds too.

They are not fully matured though until past 2 - I would happily believe up until they are 4.

we have one although frustratingly we don't know how old as we rescued her although vet thought possibly 2. she is a big girl and LOVES food. we try to keep her diet strict although she is a piglet!! i rarely give her wet as a/she only licks the jelly off and b/attracts flys so she has dried, good quality although i give her tuna once or twice a week, a firm favourite, best way of getting her off the shed roof. she is a big plump although i think alot of maine coon's are somewhat big (not just in length but tummy etc). she is a noisy thing too, makes all sorts of different sounds, sometimes more than one at a time and likes to talk to me alot :D
