It's not. We've had him since he was 16 weeks and he's chipped thank god but she didnt believe DH at first when he said "no, it's my cat" and said he looked just like her bengal. Someone told her there was a bengal in the area so she drove over with her DC to look for him.

She went towards him and he scarpered but now I'm really worried he'll go out one day and not come back.

I cant keep him in forever either because he destroys cat flaps and wees everywhere.

I'm so cross and scared right now and angry. I could pick my cat out of a line up of a 100 bengals so why did she mistake him for hers?.

She might be feeling desperate to get her cat back, but she's being a complete arse. Thank god your cat is microchipped. If she does - god forbid - try to catch snatch you'd be able track the woman down and prove the cat is yours at least.

make nice to her, say you will keep a look out and get contact details....at least if your boy goes missing you will know where to look!

Cats, thats a good idea it's better to engage rather than be stroppy.

I'd be devastated if our cat went missing, we havent got children and are unlikely to have them so he is literally everything I've got (I am no-contact with my parents etc).

It's just the way she was dismissive of DH when he said it's our cat that got me.

She'll get a shock if she gets close enough to pick him up, he turns into a threshing machine if he doesnt want to be picked up, DH would fetch him at night when he was 7 months old and would come in literally dripping blood off his hands and stomach, he could only just contain him. I dont clip his claws so that if he gets into a fight he can defend himself.

Thank you for responding I wasnt sure if I was BU. Lovely day here and the poor cats on house arrest.
