Picked up our beautiful 6-month old tortie/black/bit of white kitten from the rescue centre today and brought her home.
I was really nervous as we've never had cats before so it's all new territory for me. But she has settled in beautifully already. We've been told it's a good idea to keep her in one room for the first week or so, we've got her in the lounge and she can see us through the glass doors. She's using the litter tray beautifully and has eaten 2 meals!
The dds love her - she's so playful and has mad moments when she's leaping around.
We're still debating her name. She was called Layla by the rescue centre which dh likes (an Eric Clapton fan!) but we don't. The dds quite liked Cookie before she came home but now she's here I'm not sure it suits her. Millie or Molly are other possibilites.
Totally in love with her!
