I am torn.

I think it is totally unnecassary to have these pictures printed in a newspaper.

I think to tape this and put it up as entertainment is wrong.

However I keep pet rats and the feeding of them live to snakes is considered perfectly fine by the RSPCA, you tube is littered with videos showing this, I find these just as distressing, I really don't see that one is worse than the other.

I only read the headline on the net, I bet the kitten was advertised free to a good home in bargain pages or similar.

Trouble is when you print it you give other people the idea too, I'm not going to click on the story because I really dont want to see some bastard killing a cat.

Have youtube pulled the video??

I don't know if it's been pulled fluffy
You may be right about it going free....that's why I think any animal should have some kind of monetry value to stop unscrupulous people...after all, rescue centres who do give for free vet you don't they?

My Poppy is just a moggy from a farmer in Essex...but she still cost me £50...and I would have paid £500 now I know her little personality...in fact she's priceless to me now.

Oh bugger it's on the daily mail with a link so you can watch the kitten being killed. They give you a synopsis of what happens and this waste of organs also promises more videos.

This is why I dont like youtube. And why I like animals more than humans, at least in the wild the kitten would have stood a chance to get away it had no chance did it? if it had tried to escape he would have stopped it getting away wouldnt he?

I just despair of the human race I really do.

Bloody newspapers.

This may sound a bit OTT but because of it my DS is really upset, and I can't get the image (which I haven't even seen) out of my head.

Vile things go on every day, but I want to have a choice whether or not I have to see it. If DH hadn't warned me I would have seen it. Unfortunately DS already had. Angry
