The litter tray

bad reaction to flea treatment

My cat's just had a fit, four hours after I gave her Bob Martin's spot on treatment. (following instructions)

She's okay now, a bit dazed.

It's happened twice before, and both times we've taken her to the vet, who've not actually done anything, and have not asked about the usage of BM treatments.

I've googled "bad reaction to flea treatment" and its quite scary. I hope this helps other mumsnetters.

Sad

I'm thinking of sending the box with two unused spot ons, back to BM to ask for a full refund. What do you think?

Tell your vets there is evidence being gathered in an attempt to ban Bob Martins spot on,

Thank you, I have been there and I've also filled in a report at Wilkinson, where I bought it, so they may boycott it if they get more complaints. She's back to normal today.

I've also sent BM a letter of complaint.

One of my colleagues went home to get some forgotton paperwork one day to find her kitten circling frantically and drooling.

Bob martin flea collar caused poisoning.

Luckily the kitten survived but if she hadnt have gone home she wouldnt have been back for another 4 hours so god know what would have happened.

Oh god BM strikes again.

I actually chased a man down the cat isle in the supermarket and begged him to put it back and get Frontline from his vet.

A google about BM flea treatment is enough to scare anyone. I can not for the life of me figure out why this is still available.

There's an FB Page asking for it to be pulled.

I'll have a look for it. I was in my local RSPCA shop today and even mentioned it to them Grin

I would happily stand in the isle and stop people from buying it. How can BM ignore this?
