I have had my kitten for 2 weeks now and he is adorable. When i first got him he had fleas, so i treated him with Frontline (2 weeks ago). But when he sat on my bed i could see lots of flea poos on my bed.
I went to pets at home and got a flea treatment for the whole house and replaced the bedding with new stuff last night. But this morning i could still see flea poos where he had been sitting.
Do you think i should Frontline him again or is it normal to still see poos?

Neither me nor my children have been bitten.

Some fleas are resistant to frontline now - stronghold is best but you will need a vet prescrption (I think)

I have found frontline to be next to useless for the last two years. I use Advocate now and its loads better.

I havent seen any fleas on him. Do you think i should try frontline again anyway?

Have you tried using a flea comb and grooming him to see how much you can get off him? I find that grooming them helps get rid of a load of them plus eggs and flea dirt.

Advocate is only available from the vets, I believe.

You'll have to get it form the vets. It worth getting your kitten checked over anyway if they came to you with fleas as they will most likely need worming too.

You do need to take him to the vets as for such a young cat he has had fleas a long time - this can lead to anaemia and worms.

He's been to the vets, his previous owner, my brother in law took him las week for me. He's been wormed and had his first vaccinations. They didnt see any fleas.

Maybe you need to flea bomb your house?

Do you think i'm being paranoid? could they just be old flea poo that are making their way out of hid fur? Or is it wishful thinking?
i Frontlined him again until i can get him back to the vets.

Can you use too much of those neck treatments?
