Hi we are looking at taking on a rescue kitten (or kittens, I know alot of places prefer you have two) and a quick search shows there are several places we could approach. We are in south london and locally there is Fola farm,Celia Hammond, Cats protection and even Battersea, plus a few smaler charities.
Has anyone experience of dealing with these agencies and can advise if there are big differances in what the process might be? I work from home as a childminder so we would have young children here 4 days a week. We are looking to get a kitten as my 10yo daughter has asked for one for at least two years. Both DH and I have had cats/kittens before.

Are there big differances in rescue centres?
