I get all my dogs' chicken from here, it's brilliant service and quality. Didn't know they did lamb ribs, off to look now!

Oh, that's a lot of lamb ribs! Not sure my freezer would cope. Currently get 4kg at a time

Oh thank you, I didn't know about this company and they are quite local to us as well.

Can anyone recommend a supplier who sells boneless meat chunks (beef, chicken, venison, fish) in the Kent or South East London area? Currently using caninemealsonwheels but like to add variety.

No recommendations Marco but just looked at the website you are using, seems cheaper than where I have been buying from and they deliver oop north too! Do you find them to be good?

Hijacking thread slightly too - is beef mince safe to feed? I don't know why I think it isn't but am sure I remember reading something somewhere...bought some yesterday from reduced section of supermarket but now wondering if it is OK to feed him? Confused

I think it may have been reports about neosporosis? The risks are low. If you're worried you may want to freeze the mince first. I tend to feed fresh.

I use raw2paw, who deliver products from several other suppliers, so making if more geographically available. I buy their DAF products and find them fine (reasonably priced as feeding 50kg dog!)

villy how much are you feeding per day? Just asking as I have a growing Rottweiler puppy currently on 5% of 38kg

It reduced as he got older, don't panic! Its probably less than (or about) 1kg per day, now he's pretty well stopped growing

There was a time it was double that!

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't come across this supplier and they deliver here in darkest Wiltshire.

villy what breed do you have? I'm over 1k still and then there is training treats as well... She hasn't an ounce of fat on her and her coat is so shiny not to mention those new adult teeth sharp razor blades

She loves lifting me up from under my arse and chucking me across the kitchen at dinner time

I emailed this company and they have said I can collect. 10k chicken with 15% bone for £7.50, am I right in thinking that's a good deal? I have pure minced chicken breast from the butcher that I can mix with offal etc.

He's a large ridgeback. As they get older they require far less food, as their growing rate slows. He was on double what he's on now I reckon, a few months ago! I was struggling to keep up then suddenly, at about 9 or 10 mths, he started to look 'well covered' and ive just been able to cut back and back. I do it by eye so don't weigh it though.

That's a good deal btw!

Oh I googled, stunning!

I feed by eye now as well and I'm hoping to bring down the amount soon although she needs more pure food ie no bone than bone included in her main meal because she loves big bones and they keep her occupied.

I've tried her with a frozen kong (kidney, peanut butter and coconut oil) but she left it hanging around in the garden until it defrosted so that's a no no (have children wanting to play in the garden) she also loves a coconut but her favourite is an empty plastics bottle. No different to children and wrapping paper really.
