The doghouse

Dog limping something bad. Should I give her some Loxicom?

She's a 10 year old lab. Got Loxicom when she had an abscess and the vet asked me if I'd noticed her joints being better on it as they use it for arthritis, which she doesn't have (yet) but is just getting old.

I've checked all her pads and paws to make sure she didn't get a bit of glass or something there. Doesn't seem to be bothered but very gingerly on her feet. Suppose I'm just thinking if I had a pain, I'd take an ibuprofen/paracetamol myself.

Ok to dose her up or if she doesn't seem in obvious pain, leave it?

I think it's her hips btw as we've had this before. Think her hips are starting to go a bit.

Bit late now, but I would have. As long as you know her weight and you give it with food I don't see why it would be an issue.
