Anyone in the Worcester/Malvern Area who can help a dog?

I have it on good authority that this is a genuine appeal.

If anyone is interested in Nellie please do get in touch with the Worcestershire Animal Rescue shelter.

There is nothing at all about this on either their FB page or their website, though of course sadly most rescues often have Staffies needing homes.

Also, Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter would be very unlikely to kill a dog simply for being unhappy in kennels. They have foster carers, and like most reputable rescues would be working hard to ensure a good foster home for any dog who was particularly struggling in kennels. I've emailed them asking for further info, particularly on the PTS aspect of your post.

i thought someone might be able to at least find another rescue to take her for now or something.. hopefully save her from euthanasia until a home can be found.

I'm posting this for a friend from facebook.. i have no other info beyond this, but i'm assured its a genuine plea for help.

"Is anyone out there who is looking to adopt a dog?

The shelter I volunteer at in Malvern has a beautiful little Staffie girl called Nellie, who is so unhappy in the shelter, she is due to be put to sleep on Tuesday.

She is very nervous of people until she feels confident with you, once she does, she is so affectionate and adorable.

I would offer to take her myself but she will probably only settle in a quiet, calm home with no other dogs and an owner with plenty of time and patience to settle her in.

If you are a dog lover, please share this status. Hopefully, someone will come forward to offer poor Nellie the loving home she deserves before it's too late.

If you are interested, please contact Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter for details"
