Just that really. She is a 10 month old golden lab. She is mad, she runs away with other dogs, she rolls in stinky stiff and makes the house reek, she sheds hair all over the place. BUT she is now curled up on her mat looking adorable and i just realised that i love her to bits and would not be without her.

What do you love about your dog?

PuppyMonster is bad....she's a 1yr old mini doodle, greets everyone on 2 legs, jumps up everywhere, claws up carpet, eats tissues/socks/knickers, tries to steal all food, eats & rolls in muddy puddles & barks if she doesn't have full attention (except in puppy classes where she pretended to behave immaculately until she got home). I adore her beyond all reason. Yesterday when I cried because I'm huge pregnant hormonal mess she came & Sat on my knee & licked the tears off then curled up next to me for an hour.

I love his total enthusiasm. He runs at life full pelt, and is always 'OhMyGodIt'sYOU!!!' excited to see me. I love the way that he will sneak up on to the sofa and gradually burrow his way under my arm until he's being cuddled, or fling himself with a sigh across the laptop when he decides he needs attention Grin He's also fabulous with the DC, and fetches all of his treasures to them if they're upset or cross about something. He's a total star.

I love his lolloping run and the way he trots around the woods with his ears bobbing up and down, he looks so happy. Then he looks at me and his furry gremlin face makes it look like he is smiling.

He's not a cuddler but I love how he sits bolt upright perched on the edge of my knee, rocking gently whilst I rub his chest.

I also love how easy going he is with new experiences. We took him in his first long trip this weekend, yorkshire to kent. We were staying with my uncle who has a lovely, very vocal bossy spaniel. Little doggylonglegs took everything from the dog, the journey and a trip into Greenwich in his stride with his usual lust for life. He's fantastic, as I am sure yours all are!

I love his calmness and the way he gently leans against you (or anyone else) for a stroke.

Plus watching him run is one of the greatest joys in life

The way that, no matter what, he loves us and waits patiently for us. He is all-forgiving and gentle and his excitement at our coming home from work/uni/shopping never wanes. He gives plenty and asks very little in return. He's 12 and a half now and his health is starting to fail, he is going to leave a massive hole when he shuffles off this mortal coil.

I just love the crazy fool that he is. He is so loyal and just loves all people. He is also desperate for the cat to love him but she can't stand the sight of him.

However I wasn't feeling the love this morning when he laid in a huge puddle and then went for a gallop around a recently ploughed field. Dirty is not the word.

I love the way I am the most important thing in her life. I love the way she tries to share her bones with me by shoving them in my mouth. I love how when she's had a stressful time she cuddles up very close to my side, snuggles her nose into me, heaves a huge sigh and relaxes. I love her great big body and tiny little head. I even love when she mad-dogs up and down the house, dunking her head and often her paws in the water bucket at one end and crashing into the front door at the other.

What I don't love is the constant poo eating and that everything in the world terrifies her.

I love how he looks at me when he has a toy in his mouth and he knows I'm going to play. I love his absolute joy at being in the fields off lead. I love when we're on on lead walks he still looks back to make sure I'm still there.

I love the way she runs around in excited little cirlces when I open the drawer with her lead in. Even though it happens every day at least twice. I love the way she looks at both sides of the bed in the morning to check that dp and I are both there.

He's a big gangly smoochy faced boxer who thinks pulling a scrunched up nose face gets him treats and food.

He is the bestest, stillest, snuggler upper there is.
