Hi,
Our puppy is13 weeks old and this morning dp decided to take her out in his van whilst I had nipped to the shops.
She has been in the car lots of times and been fine but he said she weed on the seat of the van and then was sick in the van.
This was at about 9:30 and she has nit been herself since. Keeps going into her crate and staying not coming out she was in there for two hours before which is not at all like her. She doesn't want to go outside And has wet her bed which she hasn't done for a few weeks.
Feel daft ringing the vets but am worried. Any ideas?

Have you wormed her recently? My pup was like this after we wormed her.
Could she have eaten something she shouldn't?

Sounds like she has been thoroughly frightened and travel sick. Was she in her crate in the van or just sitting on the seat?

Leave her to it. Don't make any extra fuss or bother. Carry on as normal, otherwise she will think her behaviour is the right way to react to a trip in the van.

Offer food as normal and be all jolly - jolly her out of it without making a fuss of her. Hoick her out of the crate for a wee as normal.

But if she is sick again, ring the vet - the van trip could be a red herring.

Lilylou she was worked last Tuesday. Don't think she has eaten anything she shouldn't.
Daisy no she was just on the seat Angry told him not to take her in the van but he thought she would be fine.
She is having a cuddle at the moment whilst ds is napping. Will take her for a walk when he gets up.
Thanks

She is drinking normally, hadn't eaten much but has had her tea now. She is licking everything which is unusual but not sure if it means anything. I knew I would love her but never thought I would worry about her like she was my child Grin

The licking is probably stress related. With no fuss, it'll pass in no time.

There may be a bit of work to get her confident in the van. It's hard for pup - there's nowhere to lean against when plonked on a seat. She'll get there.

Thanks, I don't want her in the van, she doesn't need to and is fine in the car so don't want to spoil that.
She seems much better this morning thanks for all your advice.
