I'm not a fan of Greys do I need to give Scandal a go?

Grey's just got on my wick after a couple of seasons and I read the writer has being concentrating on Scandal instead. Is it worth watching or us it overrated?

I love Scandal, though I also loved Grey's. Scandal is very different though - more political drama for sure. The first season is fairly short so maybe give it a go. It is probably one of my favourite programmes these days.

I've seen all of Scandal including season 3 and it is ok.

It's not genius writing and the president and Olivia is the least interesting thing about it, the First Lady is a much more interesting character than Olivia.

I was bored of Olivia by the end of season 3. And when I say it's not great writing it's not the West Wing , it's not the Wire, it's not even Criminal Minds.

But it is ok, trashy tv.

I do agree with Olivia Pope being the least interesting thing about scandal. But there definitely are some great character moments. And the first last is a definite grower.

We'll, the First Lady is always the more interesting one in these sort of dramas.

I'm on to episode five. I just can't believe she would go for the president, he's hardly dashing is he? I'm going to watch the a Season then I'll decide.

The trouble with me is that I grew to really dislike Meredith in Greys and I can see me going that way with Olivia. Why do they always speak so bloody fast? Does Shonda make them speak that way? I'm surprised they don't pass out they never pause for breath.

I love Scandal so much more than Greys. It's tosh, but brilliantly done tosh.

I love the way characters/ story lines go off in directions you never would have predicted. Series 3 is very dark!

OOI where is/has season 3 been showing, please? Only want to know in case I get keen to view it...

Assuming a UK TV channel, but if anyone outside UK, please at least mention that... Have just got a cheap Now TV box for £12.50 and it includes 4 months of 'Entertainment' - given the original boxes were £9.99 I felt that even if there was nothing much of interest, it was a bargain deal - and I now see Scandal seasons 1 and 2 are viewable.
