how do you solve a problem like maria

does anyone know why emily, the gobby one, no longer is appearing in the final 10 line up for the live shows? she seems to have been replaced by siobhan, the gorgeous one who blew it by having a cold all week. I liked emily!

Says on the BBC website that Emilie decided to drop out so that's why Siobhan got a second chance - can't find out why she dropped out though - will keep looking coz am intrigued now!!

Emily reckons this could harm her voice!

Interesting to see if Siobhans voice comes back, and just how much flirting comes from the judge!

Went off the singing lady last week, she's very short with the girls, not kind and nurturing.

THnaks Polgara2 - i was becoming quite frustrated by my inability to get to the bottom of it all. Of course we still need to find out why emily withdrew. I do hope all will be revealed tomorrow night. Now i just need to work out will ds be early or late to bed so i can watch the first show on sat.

Found another quote that said she didn't think it was right for her or her voice!!! Wasn't that keen on her myself. DD1 is delighted that Siobhan is back in because she was her favourite . Am having to tape it tomorrow because she'll be on a sleepover (cue stressed mummy!!!)and will miss it.

oooh....Graham was a bit bitchy about Emily tonight wasn't he?!

I thought that Helena was worst over all but improved considerably in the sing-off - at least she was better than Laura who seemed to be really nervous.
Great show though wasn't it?

It was good - glad Laura went over Helena - as I thought she (L) was poor on both her songs.

Not overly keen on Connie though...........

I think Connie is obviously very good but really knows what she is doing compared to the others which might not be fair. I like Leanne - the young one.
It must have been quite tough for them to sing that good bye song - especially Laura but I think she sang that better the the other 2!

I'm glad I'm not the only one watching this!! I couldn't decide betwenn Laura and Helena tonight, but I don't think Helena will last next week unless she really pulls it out of the bag.

Does anyone else find Connie a bit odd? She's got this strange desparate look about her eyes a lot of the time.

And Siobhan drives me mad, she's so prissy and 'i'm so beautiful' all the time. Lighten up girl, they're looking for sassy girls.

I haven't really got a favourite, I like Abi but I'm not convinced she's got what it takes and I like the turkish girl (mel..?).

Can't wait for next week, is anyone else loving the Sound of Music group numbers they're doing - fantastic .

Siobhan has become sickly sweet annoying hasn't she, don;t think she'll last. I think Leanne is a cutey, but she is too little and young, how will they then put the children against her? The oldest daughter will look so much older! I really like Connie, you can tell she is trained, and she does use her eyes, the eyes have to tell the story and be alive, remember voice coach lady told one of them her eyes were dead and did nothing? She moves the stage and is providing a level that the others will have to reach, it will be interesting to see who pushes themselves to it.

Liked the "preacher man" girl, can't remember her name, she has a really good face.

I keep trying to picture them with the blonde maria wig on.

Thought the ending was sad, when they sand adieu adieu to Laura leaving, blimey, emotional!

Why doesn't anyone ever mention Belinda? She had a hard time following Simone with the same song, and sang it far better, Simone was so off key, a real disappointment.

Belinda is too 'mumsy' IMHO. Leamme too young, although she's my fave. Perhaps they could cast her as the eldest girl?? She could do 16 going on 17??

Simone is lovely, but it isher accent, I hope he uses her in Evita though. Cannie is great, v. musical theatre, but at least she is professional.
