E4 scheduling nightmare

TBBT is back on for a couple weeks after taking a break over Xmas only to disappear again until April and then the new episode of 2 broke girls being replaced with an old episode of TBBT! What's going on?!

It's because when it runs in the US, like a lot of shows, it has a mid-season break. So we also have to wait, so we don't catch up with the US. Something to do with not breaching the terms of the network buying rights.

Are you sure? There are several more episodes which have been shown in US. We could carry on with those without catching up with US.

In UK, we've had up to ep9.

In US, there was no mid season break between 9 (shown there in Nov) and 10 (5 Dec). 11 was also in Dec, then 2 week Christmas break. 12, 13 and 14 have already aired in January. And only 15 and 16 still to be shown.

We also had a Christmas scheduling break. And are faced with the prospect of a 2 month plus break which did not occur in US.

It's the same situation with the Mentalist on Channel 5

I couldnt be bothered watching 2 broke girls last week because of this.
I get into it and then it stops and then it takes me a while to get back into it.

Why dont e4 just wait until they can show the whole series in one go.
