I thought it was tripe but I did see a trailer for the new series earlier today with the bloke from the BT ads as the new bumbling police bod. Don't recall what night it said though.

I do like it but sure how it's going to work with the new guy in it. Haven't seen the trailer yet.

I liked it specifically for the Ben Miller character. Will be interesting to see if it's as good.

It us tripe but we loved it. The new bloke is that wacky Kris someone-or-other. I don't dislike him but he's not a patch on Ben Miller, our main reason for watching originally.

Aw Ben Miller has left, I was hoping for romance.
I just love it on a winter night, it's light and fluffy and I can just sink into the beautiful Caribbean with all those soft lilting accents.

I thought it was very good, Ben Miller was a hard act to follow but I think he did a reasonable job.

It has git so ludicrous now I can't suspend my disbelief enough anymore to watch it. It is a nice light watch but:
WHY was he bumped off exactly the same as his predecessor was
WHY has the knew guy done exactly what he did - move into the dead mans house and upset everyone
HOW was the new guy standing by ready to fly out to the Caribbean to investigate his death (exactly how Ben miller did) complete with almost rented out house
WHERE is this stream I numbing English policemen coming from
And
WHY does the DCI of a French Caribbean Island have to be from England! Surely they would have just promoted mate boy sergeant or Camille.

Didn't the commissioner (or whatever he is) explain that he'd got someone else over from England to investigate because he understood that Richard's colleagues/friends would be upset and find it hard to think straight? They seemed to agree when he mentioned it.

Tripe in the sun but love it and agree that the supporting cast is good enough whoever plays the lead (inc Don Warrington). But have found KM easy to accept so far
