So excited and cannot wait! Being from the most tellyvisually boring family in the world, I have only watched new-doctors but, even so, I am ridiculously excited about the day of the doctor!!

We tried to get tickets but it was sold out Hmm going to use the money for a takeaway in front of the tv instead

All the seats at established cinemas sold out on friday - I think I was lucky because we had a new cinema open a couple of months ago so it isn't that well-known yet and they had a few tickets left saturday morning otherwise we would be doing the same. It's ds' s 13th the previous saturday so this is part of his birthday-box. Killing me not telling him - that's why I'm on here!!

I pondered it, dressing up and everything... going to be an amazing atmosphere. But I decided I'd rather stay at home and be in my PJs, ready to live comment on GB as soon as it finished.

There are bound to be loads of DW t-shirts etc on sale in the next few weeks. I will see what I can find to stretch round my vast body! We went to a DW concert at the Barbican ages ago and Russell T Davies was doing Q&A. He pointed to DD in her Dalek outfit and did a thumbs up! I don't think I will be able to persuade her to wear it again and it would probably be round her waist now!!

KCumberSandwich - brill idea. I may very well nick that plan and try to bake some "fish" fingers too. I bet there'll be orange sprinkles available online somewhere.

From memory, the actual 'fish fingers' were made with coconut.
