NotYoMomma have you watched it all then? Please please don't give us any hint of a clue about what goes on during this season. Half the fun is in speculating. You can laugh at us while we make wild speculations and theorise unashamedly. Grin

I mostly enjoyed episode 2, especially the twist where

spoiler alert. Don't read on if you have not watched it yet

ROOT turns out to be Samantha, Hanna's friend. I was not expecting that, tbh, not until the librarian was recalling her conversation with Samantha to Det. Carter. But, and this is a huge but, why did they not trace the car that Hanna got into when she disappeared? Samantha told the operator the car reg number and yes, there was a single digit that was wrong, but surely they would have looked for possible matches and investigated. I couldn't get past that. Grr. Unless, you lot can convince me otherwise, I think that it was a bit of a flaw in the programme.

NotAsTired, I wondered about the car, but then there are many flaws in this programme! Firstly, why don't Carter's and Fosco's bosses notice that they spend so much time on their own projects? Don't they ever get given urgent stuff to do that they can't just drop when Reece calls? And how can Carter swan off to Texas at a moment's notice? And don't US Cops always have partners that go everywhere with them? (Or have I seen too much Cagney & Lacey/Starsky & Hutch etc.)

Love it anyway though :)

I like this programme too but what makes me laugh most is how Rees is always talking to Harold on his headset in the street or in a room with other people etc and no one ever thinks that this is slightly odd behaviour?! Hilarious. Good bit of nonsense though.

And why does Rees always whisper?!

I'm on episode four of season three. I love it. I promise not to spoil anything, just marking place to chat about it.

I think they might need to change the voiceover on the opening credits. The "You'll never find us" is particularly ironic, considering Harold's recent storyline. :o

And how does Reece manage to keep those shirts so white?

I am hoping the Root storyline won't feature too much, find her v v annoying.

Yes she is, isn't she! Smug and smarmy and not very believable, unlike the rest of the show of course Grin.

Exactly NotGood

And can't act!!! Why, why did they bring someone so annoying into the storyline. I love it otherwise and have a little nerd crush on Harold

I love this too and yyy to loving Reese - I can never resist a beautiful blue eyed man. If you like Jim Caviezel he is hauntingly gorgeous in The Thin Red Line.

I think this show just gets better and better with each episode, absolutely gripping stuff. Good that there don't seem to be any "filler" episodes passing the time between the main storylines. I'm thinking of you, The Mentalist.

Anyone else watching this and wondering why Reece doesn't just change his clothes if he doesn't want to be spotted as "The man in the suit"? Confused

Put some jeans on, man! :o

DH and I love this series. We are generally huge fans of American TV dramas (think House, The Mentalist, Castle, Bones, Buffy, Angel) and have really enjoyed this one with the Finch/Reese bromance rather than the traditional man/woman pairing.

(BTW, just checked and Reese is the official spelling Wink)

What we love about Season 2 is the way that we've now established that Reese is a kickass fighter - so they don't necessarily show us the fighting! Loved when Carter was waiting in the car while he went in to clear some bar or other, and a man came flying out through the door.

Love the addition of the dog too. I must admit, while I think Root is completely and utterly up herself, I do have a bit of residual affection for Amy Acker as she played Fred in Angel.

I lost this thread Hmm but thank goodness, I found it again.

Apart from the car thing in episode 2 (still grrr) I have been totally been immersed in it. There is a suspension of belief but that's what I like - as long as they work within the scope of their own internal logic and not have glaringly obvious flaws.

Really enjoyed episode 5 and 6. I wasn't too surprised when they revealed HR Boss because he kept popping up in the episode and I thought it must be for a reason. I loved Reese dating Maxine, the reporter. I think the producers have cottoned on to the fact that we would like to see Reese maybe do more romance, or pretend to do romance. I also like the fact that Zoe and he are almost flirting, very understated though. Detective Carter's face was a picture when Zoe introduced herself as Reese's wife. Grin

Anyone else still watching this?

Watched the latest episode, "relevance". Really enjoyed it, adrenaline fuelled action all the way through. It took me a little while to work out that Shaw and Cole were Reese and Finch's counterparts. I thought their relationship was sweet and was shocked that Cole died (first one that our heroes have lost I think). I did like the fact that she gave the information back to

Why did Finch not tell her straight out that the numbers were from a machine?

Why did Root try to get information out of her? Surely, she'd be able to hack the information from within? And can you remind me why she wants to get to the machine?

And why are the women on the show of a certain type? I can't remember seeing a blonde for ages.
