I've been slightly hooked on this programme since it first started.

I feel ridiculously happy when they are still seeing each other a month after the proper date.

But tonight's chosen one cried off Poor bloke never got his meal Sad

I love it ! Missed tonight's though. There was one last week with an older man when he hardly got any stars and 2 out of 3 hated him! Also remember one when they had dated as teenagers, she didn't choose him though

Well, this one was supposedly a repeat.
There was one the other week where one of the women was horrible to the admittedly, quite boring looking but harmless bloke. She made no effort at conversation and virtually slammed the door on him Shock Grin I know it's all edited but..

I wonder what they think when they watch it and hear all the "I just don't fancy him/her" comments

I half wish I was single so could go in it Grin

It's 'Come dine with me' with romance - my guilty pleasure.

I love it, I can even convince my DH too watch it if he is home.

Have you ever seen the Australian one? They have to go away for a night together Shock

Oh I love it. My favourite moment ever was when a young guy (self-styled as a mini Ian Brown/Liam Gallagher type) got rejected and threw his ready meal into the air in disgust! How I laughed! Grin

My sister was on this. I think it was the first series and she brought her zebra with her

Yes, I love the bad losers

Frazzle how long does the actual date take? Is it a set 2 hours or something?

Hi, sorry I'd forgotten I posted in here! Sorry Swedish, I have no idea!

There were a lot of awkward silences though, especially with two of the guys she met. The one she chose was rather nice, but it fizzled out quite quickly after a couple of dates

OMG Frazzle I recall your sister - just why did she take a toy Zebra with her?

Confused

I've no idea! It's like her alter ego or something. She's a bit of a strange one that one. She often talks about Zibbi Zebra and he joins her and her mates at parties etc. He's even got his own FB profile. I'm just as stumped as you tbh.

Oh, I'll have to look out for that one when they show repeats.

This morning's bloke was rather nice...

I find myself not flicking over when this is on. I can't help but watch it! Grin

An accidental find this but I do enjoy DD! And DP watches - and passes comment! - on it, too.

I always feel a bit sorry for the ones who find out they're cooking for chefs tho. Bless em!

I'm watching one I recorded from Monday, teacher called Nicola? I don't care for her. Very patronising and can't hold a fork properly.

I love Dinner Date.
