It will take a lot for anything to fill my 10pm Tuesday slot recently vacated by the following - but this is looking promising so far.

Anyone else?

I've recorded it and will watch tomorrow, so will let you know what I think.

I just saw it, it seemed good. I'm going to stick with it. I'm just pleased a read a write up of it in the paper this weekend which explained about it being set pre-Manhunter.
Fingers crossed it turns out to be worth sticking with.

I watched one yesterday on catch up ? which threw me seeing as it started tonight. Anyhow it didn't grip me , I reached for a magazine after about 10 mins and needless to say I didn't have a clue by the time it finished.

Great actors and definite creepy David Lynch "Blue Velvet" feel at times - should work but not entirely convinced?

I'm not sure if I liked it or not, I can't help but think I've seem this type of thing before, I will stick with it though. I'm missing the Following I can not wait for the next season. I also watched Banshee but it was a bit too raunchy and violent for me and generally ridiculous but my OH really liked it.

The first one seemed not bad, so I will give it a go for a bit longer. Did anyone else find Mads thingy hard to understand? He needs to stop mumbling and enunciate! (or am I turning into a deaf old woman?)

Yet another show about murder though. Why are there so many? Must be something unhealthy in our collective psyches.

Yes about the mumbling!

I have to put the subtitles on when that Mads fella comes on! I think he has really funny shaped lips or something.

Loving it.

I love it! The first episode took a couple viewings for me to "get" it, but since the 2nd episode I've been sucked in.

Once you actually put out of your mind any Anthony Hopkins versions of Lecter, it becomes far more enjoyable.

I really quite liking it. (Although a bit Hmm at Will Graham being portrayed as autistic).

Have a few to catch up on but there is no word on whether it will be renewed for a 2nd season. All other US shows have had their news except this one.

Is he autistic? I've missed something, then.
I have to say, I'm loving the programme

In the pilot episode he is asked 'Where do you fall on the spectrum?" He replies,"My horse is hitched to a post that is closer to Aspergers and Autistics'.

The books don't mention anything.

Ah so he did, I'd forgotten that!

I am actually starting to have a bit of a thing for Dr Lector and kind of want invited to one of his dinner parties.... the food looks amazing!

Mads Mikkelsen is Danish, he was the villain in Casino Royale...yes I have a monster crush on him which really annoys DH Grin
Thoroughly enjoying the series but I wish they would hurry up and set fire to Freddie Lounds already.

Watched the first two - they don't give the Lecter character enough to do - have deleted the next 2 and series link from planner

I'm liking this more than I thought I would, and now don't want Hannibal to get found out Smile.

It just makes me feel so bloody hungry though, which I'm sure is a bit wrong!
