Anyone watching the Lizzie Bennet Diaries online?

It's not strictly a tv show in as much as it's a video blog, but it's soooo addictive!

I stumbled upon it maybe a week and a half ago and have managed to watch all 94 episodes, and found myself unable to function without reloading the page for update every day even though I know the new episodes go up on Mondays and Thursdays.

Am also a little bit in love with the guy who plays Fitz Blush. And the Darcy/Lizzie thing is lovely but then it's a given! I love the modern twist on it but how will they resolve it?

Just crossed my mind to see if anyone on Mumsnet was into this as well. I found it after a mention in the Guardian in early Feb I think, didn't realise it was still being rolled out so was a bit horrified when I actually had to wait for episodes!

I eventually managed to find ep 98 today. I am predictably very in love with the guy who plays Darcy!

Have you had a look at Ashleys tumblr?

I'd given up anyone responding to this, sorry! I've been totally addicted since I found it but now the last episode aired today and I'm going to have to watch it all again from the beginning or I'll go into withdrawal. The guy who plays Darcy is AMAZING. He does the 'I am so in love with you but I'm going to try hard to hide it' so well. In fact I would spend hours just looking at his and Lizzie's face when they interact.

I've looked at so much stuff! There's Ashleys tumblr but also a super site on Facebook called Socially Awkward Darcy that posts lots of lovely gifs and other fan art

Can't believe there is only two of us! Watch it everyone!

I've been away for a week so I've been cold turkey for a while which is weird. There is so much fan stuff out there, and I'm loving finding it - tho some of them are so YOUNG!

I'm really looking forward to my days off when I can start going through it all from the beginning. I really enjoyed the emphasis on the female friendships at the beginning - tho' obviously when Darcy appeared became obsessed with him! I think he did an amazing job as well. I'd never got into anything on Youtube before like that, so it's opened up a whole new world.

And I reread P&P again. Tho I found the 1996? TV adaptation still came into my mind more than the LBD one, perhaps because they used the actual lines more.

I'm watching it too! Though I'm only up to episode 40 so far. I haven't read Pride & Prejudice for ages, so I can't quite remember all the details of the plot. Think I'll have to read it again once I finish watching :)

I love what they did with the character of Lydia. She's insufferable in the book and the BBC version but in this one, whilst she starts annoying, they really developed her and made her into a real person. It's definitely made me want to read the book again. And the costume theatre is genius!

Ellie I envy you - all that fun to come! And Dino - you won't regret it.

I've started again! - it's great while washing up or whatever. Tho' you do miss a lot of the glances, and little details. It's definitely worth watching more than once. The whole team did such an amazing job on it.

I'm taking more notice of Lydia this time round - at first I thought she was just annoying at the start as well, but having seen how the actress shows her change through the whole thing - I'm way more interested in her.

I've only been watching Lizzie's video diaries - is it worth watching Lydia's, and catching up on all the Tumblr/twitter stuff? Or will I just lose more and more time to it...?

I only watched the Lizzie stuff the first time around and that was fine, but on my second watch I looked at the lot and it made a huge difference in the depth of story you get.
For the full experience, I'd recommend watching the Lydia and the Domino videos; they are not critical but they really do add more to the story - Lydia is fantastic especially in the later videos when she hooks up with Wickham and you get to see how it affects her; and the Domino stuff which is all the 'Darcy looking for Wickham' stuff (and we always want more Darcy!). The Twitter feed also gives a great 'real-life' feel to it.
