It's back to the 1950's (grammar school) again - this time boys versus girls!

The kids usually love school by the end of it!

This is filmed at ds2s school,he was so excited ,the rooms they are using as sleeping quarters are actually converted from the meeting rooms in the main buildings.Presumably they didn't want to use the real boarding accomodation because it is too nice!!

Made me pleased to have boys theough because after the first boy left they really seemed to rally around Ho and seemed much more supportive of each other than the girls

Also thought they made a good point about how the more practical science was more interesting in those days than the modern syllabus,I wonder how true this is.

Why are they stressing how science was in 1950s - I did 3 sciences, disected a bulls eyeball & a rat in Biology & that was in the 1980s !
Don't they do that anymore ??

was great! god these kids are so soft! that Amy .. "I can't run", kids these days seem to have everything handed to them on a plate. And remarkably they seem to now be gaining respect for the teachers, I bet teachers across the country are thinking "god why can't we be respected like that!" me thinks that bringing back a bit of this into schools wouldn't be such a bad thing.

I agree. I think most of the kids seem to be high achievers ayway - wonder how the teachers would go on with 'tougher' kids to turn round ?

so - on every series so far 21st century children are saying how great old teaching methods are.

Tonight - how interesting science is - "if it was taught like this, I'd probably take it at 'A' Level" "it's made really interesting" " you remember things better when it's hands on"

Can someone let the powers that be know?
