Susan from ER has just turned up in Third Watch as a connection with ER

Just been watching third watch on FX (CH 289) and Susan Lewis is in New York looking for her sister Chloe's little girl who's gone missing. It showed a bit of ER where Susan was told that Suzie was missing.

I just remembered seeing on here that people wondered what had happened to her because she was there one minute and gone the next. So not sure if the THird watch story line will move back to ER.

Very old episode - there were a couple of connected episodes in each programme if IIRC

they never showed the thrid watch one then though so it was a bit confusing on ER

Come to mention it, Carter was on the ER bit and he's not been there for a while.

I remember this episode. Lewis got a frantic phone call from her neice saying that her mum(Chole) had gone and not come back. It was one of those weird things wher they try and link a couple of programmes. Works for CSI but didn't here.
Im actually thinking of renaming myself MNs resident ER/CSI know-it-all!! HOw depressing!

Yes, it was the link episode that introduced Third Watch, like when the CSI Vegas dudes went to Miami and had Horatio show them how to deliver their lines whilst putting on shades. Or when Horatio went to New York to show Gary Sinise how he might, if he wasn't a better actor, have to deliver his lines whilst putting on shades.

The little girl, Susie, turns up safe and well although Chloe is even more of a wreck than usual, I can't remember what happened after that in ER land, certainly Susan didn't end up with custody again.

They found Chloe OD-ing on drugs in some hell hole with Suzie trying to wake her up, Susan got a phone call a couple of weeks later from Chloe saying that she was in a rehab program and her husband had taken her and Suzie back.
The amount of useless info I can remember!!

I don't get the whole Abbey/ baby loony thing. Im just waiting for Kovac to say 'this happened with my wife' or 'my wife did that when she was pregnant'
And as for the Michael thing, I half expected him to come back with PTSD or gulf war syndrome or someting!

similar happened when they sacked dr dave and he just went - very unsatisfying.

I thought that with Luka, dh says he is just being sensitive to Abbie.

But sureley there would be some comment, if I was her I would say something to him.

I think she is going to find out she is further along than she thinks and the baby's father will be that student she went out with in the last series.

I'm sure that won't happen, Abby's a former OBGYN nurse as well as a doctor, you wouldn't have thought she could have got it wrong.

Knowing Luka he'd be all noble and stand by her anyway, he has a pattern of trying to adopt other people's kids - Sam's boy, Carol Hathaway's twins ... (why doesn't he come here and offer to adopt my ds and me?!)
