I. Love. It! Grin

Really, really well done, I thought.

I think I may be Rumpelstiltskin.

Just watched the first two eps on 5 OD.

Really enjoyed it.

I'm enjoying it too. I didn't think I would - I think it's much better than Grimm.

I really like this, it is so mad. I'm not sure if it is complete nonsense or really cool, but I like it anyway.

I need to catch up - missed ep. 3.

I think it's far better than Grimm, which seems a bit "samey" every week. I thought that about Touched, too.

I do like the grumpy werewolf bloke in Grimm though Grin

We missed it too but it's on on Thursday at 8pm if that helps.

The two older DCs love Grimm but I'm a bit meh about it - I watch it, but do prefer Once Upon a Time. Agree with you about the 'Big Bad Wolf' Blutbad, he's a good actor and one of those people that once you notice them you realise they've been in everything Grin

I love this too. And Prince Charming is very easy on the eye.

I missed the first episode and don't really get it. Is there a proper with arc that will come to a conclusion or is it just different situations every week?

Report
JazzAnnNonMouse · 25/05/2012 18:40

There will be a conclusion and some twists but with new stories every week too Smile

Found Grimm same-y & without imagination.... This on the other hand is AMAZING... Have watched ahead somewhat (access to US schedule lucky me!), & it's just sooooo clever & strangely addictive & like-able characters.
I like that it's filmed in a shiny & slightly 'magic realism' way, & the way each episode builds on the central story line, & also the way it jumps around in time.

Is anyone else still watching this? Just wanted to know if I was weird for finding Robert Carlyle attractive as Rumpelstiltskin.

Maybe not so much after watching attack Belle's father

Meeee, tho prefer him less mud-coloured. It's great, does no one else watch it, I want to go to Storyville & sort them all out.

I still can't get over the fact that they killed off the sexy Sheriff... Sad

I really like Henry which is odd as I normally find children characters really irritating on TV.

Eowyn · 18/06/2012 09:13

I think the mysterious stranger is sexier than the sheriff. But who is he...?
I also wonder how on earth they will ever resolve it. Will Claire from Lost stay in a padded cell for the rest of her life, & just how many people has the mayor got in comas & padded cells? & what a shame Snow White has to end up with the useless Price Charming.

I liked the mysterious stranger at first but am going off him fast- something about him bugs me. Give me the sheriff any day!

There's a theory that the curse has not only trapped the fairy tale characters but turned them into their opposite- gutsy Snow White is now drippy Mary Margaret, brave Prince Charming is now wimp James etc.

Which makes sense for some characters but not others. Confused

DD and I think the mysterious stranger could be the writer of the storybook - or possibly, specifically, one of the brothers Grimm. Not sure how this would work but we thought it as he is so interested in Henry's book and has a typewriter.

I'm enjoying it, although have got slightly behind... I need to catch up before the repeat on Thursday.

The scenery and costumes in the fairytale bit are fantastic, I probably like those bits better than the Storybrook plot.

I think I need to write the list of characters out though, I'm getting the 'real life' names muddled up!

Also, does anybody know how much longer it's on for? It just seems to keep going and going (not that I'm complaining Grin).

I am finding the mysterious stranger a bit wooden.
