Reality series in which two families who have never met spend two weeks together on each other's favourite holidays. The streetwise Francis family from Streatham spend a week at Ireland's prestigious Ring of Kerry Dog Show in the company of the canine-loving Rogersons. Then it's onto Ayia Napa for a week, where two of the Francis children will be DJ-ing, but the party atmosphere is met with disapproval by the Rogerson parents.

Benidorm v Sailing

Nobody then, I thought it would be the hot topic of convo tonight on MN.

One of the mothers made her 10 year old daughter stand in the middle of a crowded street in Benidorm with her hands on her head for 3 minutes as a time out!!! WTF!!!! Poor kid was totally humiliated in front of other family.

I have to admit I preferred that family to the other one though and their horribly tacky holiday....call me a snob and have never been to Benidorm but that was a really nasty place.

Only saw i bit when one family went in a strip bar while the kids waited outside - the other family went home. that bit seemed quite bad - was it awful?

It was 1.00 in the morning FGS and they had a go.....I said to DP I would have been gone long before then.

I saw it and yes they were awful

and when he shouted at the little girl for fgetting sand on the towel

But there again I would not have wanted to be with the other parents on their holiday either

Both were very extreme weren't they? Their disciplining was extreme but at the end the other family's kids said they think their mother is joking if she doesn't swear at them when she tells them off - would you want your kids to grow up like that??

I thought the mother who made her child stand with her hands above her head was a real bully, all about power. Fancy calling a four year old stupid for getting sand on a towel, when your on a beach!
