Have got two episodes to go lilibet. Will come back and discuss it in a few days' time (... we watch an episode about every other night... just can't stop). I can't get over how much better this series is than series 5. Will probably watch it all over again (which I have done with all the other series, except series 5) when I finish watching it for the first time.

Have you see the West Wing forums here ? I try not to read the plot synopses, as I don't want any spoilers for series 7, but the 'Steam Trunk Pipe Distribution Venue' forum is funny!

How can you leave it with two episodes to go?

I've watched them a dvd at a time adn have square eyes to prove it!

Hi Lilibet

Had to do some work the last couple of nights, but have just watched last episode. OMG... the drama! Was positively on the edge of my seat yelling 'Santos, Santos' by the end!

Dh (a more astute political mind than mine) is convinced the mole is CJ. But do you think she'd risk it? OTOH with Toby's background (the way he talked about his dad and all that) I don't think he'd risk a jail term do you? Could it be anyone other than those two?

lillibet - do you actually want to know (series 7 has started int he US) or speculate?

Ladymuck, I have looked at the site with the episode synopsis for series seven and ahve so far resisited!

I thought that it could be Anabeth, her, CJ and Toby are my shortlist.

That would be why they went and told Toby, they wouldn't tell him first if it was CJ.

Ooh, I hope it's Annabeth, she gets right up my nose with her stupid little voice. Can't quite believe that Toby puts up with her (... the more surly Toby is the better I like him!). But did she really know about the 'other' shuttle? Will have to rewatch previous episode to check. I think that perhaps killing off Toby's astronaut brother just before a space-related plotline would be a bit too obvious for TWW. CJ has got into trouble before for speaking out when told not to 'from above' (cf. 'The Women of Qumar').

Aaaargh! Need to move to America NOW! (But am resisting cheating by looking at plot synopses...)

It could be a way of writing a character out before they have to go anyway? The new administration can't keep all the old staff.

Have you seen that one episode in the new series is called The Wedding?

The wedding??? Will that be Charlie and Zoe, then?

Got to dash, meant to be working, but I'll be back....

Ummm

Toby and Annabeth ( please, please no!!!)
Cliff and Donna?
Leo and Kate?
Bruno Gianelli and Bruno Gianelli (cos he really loves himself..)?
Ed and Larry (though the 'Ed and Larry' joke seems to have fallen by the wayside since Aaron Sorkin stopped doing the writing)?
Will and... nah... don't be silly...

I don't want an answer for this from anyone who knows, but who do we think the father of Margaret's baby is?

Her and Bruno had a bit of a 'thing' didn't they?

What about CJ and Brock?
Donna and Josh?
Josh adn Amy (Please God, no!)

I had thought about Leo and Kate as a couple too!

Erm, ok just tell me if it's someone we know?

No idea on Margeret - presumably written in quickly around rl? Did seem to appear rather quickly!

The wedding is nothing to do with any staff members I'm afraid - it isn't as exciting as it might sound.

So when is series 7 going to appear in the UK? Given we waited for ever for series 6 (though at least it was so long we did get the dvd!)

Have you had the election yet in the US?

No, series 7 covers the presidential campaign (well in part - it is still focussing on what remains of Bartlett's presidency). Seems to cover how does Santos get himself ready, especially as he is suddenly running with Leo

I am seriously inobservant. Margaret is pregnant?? How did I miss that?? (I am quite short-sighted!) Am definitely going to have to watch series 6 again. Must be an immaculate conception, surely? Apart from anything else, she is always in the office. I really can't believe that there is a Mr Margaret!

Hold on, hold on... I've got it...

The mole is Margaret's baby, which is really half alien. It was aliens that made a hole in the space thingummyjig (stop listening when it comes to techy vocab) so that the oxygen was leaking out. Margaret will marry her alien in series 7 (hence 'The Wedding'), and in series 8 the miraculously grown-up alien baby will be elected president (standing as an Independent against Santos and Vinick) on the back of a campaign managed by Ed and Larry. Series 9 will be set on the planet Zog. And in Series 10 Bartlet will wake up and find it was all a dream (just like they did in Dallas).

No?

There's definitely something with Leo and Kate, despite what must be a fairly major age difference.
