Right, I've only started watching this in the last few months. I watch the Las Vegas one (don't really like the NY and other one as much). Am I watching a repeated series (the one on Ch 5 on Sat night)?

oops that doesn't really make sense! I mean is the one on Sat night a series that has been shown before?

Not sure how the series are running these days but have been an avid follower from the beginnig mainly because I have a thing for Grissom.

I've been watching it for ages too (not showing off or anything!). And I see foxinsocks that you are discerning in spurning the Miami and NY versions. No comparison. The Saturday ones are indeed repeats but they're not a series in a strict sense. Still, the last series was markedly different - don't want to say how in case the repeats haven't got there yet and it spoils things! Only clue is it's to do with the power structure!

I notice that Living TV has it on (it's on now) but that seems to be repeated episodes from Channel 5 (so the one on now is where Sara is suspended).

And I have the Grissom thing too, despite his funny walk.

ahhh thanks to you both. I thought it must be repeats because no-one was talking about it!

Ericblack, the Ch 5 series is up to where Grissom seems to have been put on the night shift and Catherine on the day shift - I think she was promoted (so things have been moved around).

The problem with looking at the CSI website is that it is US based and they are miles ahead!

Well that's the most recent series then. There's never long between series although obviously it feels like an eternity to me!

OK, I just found a series guide. The Ch 5 episodes are nearing the end of series 5 (looks like we are on about episode 108/9 and series 5 ends on about 119). So I guess series 6 will be brand new to the Uk once they've finished all these repeats?

I can see why people have a thing for Grissom!

Does the guy that plays Grissom have a funny leg thus funny walk.
It sometimes looks like his leg, left i think, curves out, but the other night he was in a film running and he ran just fine.

He seems to be bandy legged to me. Surprised to hear he was running in another film but pleased too. Just adds to his air of mystery. Maybe he's pretending to have a funny walk!?

tegan - u to eh! and worrick - phwoooorrrr!

fox - yes it's a repeat on channel 5 quite an old series I think. what series is it living are repeating? - is it the latest one with the quinten tarention episode as the finale?

and gris - well it's cos he know's every thing about everything and gets stuff sorted! and he's got rather nice sad looking puppy eyes - or that just maybe his age adn skin complexion! did I just say that!

I'm not the only one here who thinks Grissom's a bit of alright

ch5 are showing the last series that was on UK tv - series 5, the one that ends with the tarantino episode and it seems to me that Living just repeat the ch 5 episode later in the same week (if you see what I mean).

I had a close look at Grissom's walk tonight - sometimes he walks with his hand in his pocket which makes his walk look a bit lopsided, but at the end, he walked away (with no hands in pocket!) and it did seem slighty wonky. Having said that, before you lot mentioned it, I had never noticed anything odd about his walk at all!

can't abide the miami one, mostly cos the coroner gives me the heebies when she practically cuddles her corpses and says things like 'poor darling, let's see what happened to you' as she scalps some vic.

have to confess we gave ds the middle name Gil. we tell people its cos it means joy, but me and dp know better...

merryberry, that is priceless!

Have now figured out that Living tv at 11pm (on various nights) are re-showing the series (series 4) before the last one as well as reshowing series 5 between Ch 5 and Living.

Was reading in a paper last week, that the new series (series 6) in the US, is getting over 28 million people watching each week!

Watched one Miami one last week when I had nothing better to do - that blonde woman's voice (I think she is one of the investigators?) has to be the most irritating voice on TV.

Awww, you're all big meanies. Yes, Miami and NY aren't as good as Vegas, but they still have all the good stuff (even if you do need to yell at the screen to get Horatio to take off his sunglasses when he talks to people )

Pretty much anything death related I enjoy though....

when's season 6 on in the UK?

Probably next Summer... possibly Easter. I think they are working on a CSI LA too - that was what the one with Brass's daughter in hollywood was all about.
