This is SO tragic but dh is out on the lash and I have no-one to discuss this with - too late to phone anyone. Who thinks they are going to get it together?!

AGAIN??? Must have missed that, but I did miss a few episodes at the end of the last series - did something nearly happen then?

I'm quite glad that Fiona died (god that sounds terrible doesn't it ) she wasn't right for Adam.....

is the Harry/Ruth thing going to stay 'professional' or will it all kick off next week?

I remember him stark b*llock naked in Equus and terribly cute in the Flipside of Dominick Hyde and think he deserves some lurrve. He is the gorgeous Firth in the acting business IMO.
Nothing tragic about this parsleypants. As soon as that girl who needs a good hairwash joined the cast I said they'd off Fiona and hey presto, gone in two episodes.

They have to keep the love interest going somehow.

Yes, I thought Fiona and thingy made a rubbish couple. And she was a Bad Mother IMO! Never liked her.
I like the look of this Ruth and Harry thing. I like Ruth (though she does need a hairwash).

Adam (Rupert Penry-Jones). Do you remember Marjory from To The Manor Born, he is her son. (useless info I know)

Harry is the sensational Mr Peter Firth. Is there going to be a face-off between Ruth and Anna Chancellor for rights to his bod though?

aloha · 04/11/2005 13:57

I interviewed him once! He was very nice. Said he mostly played corpses and nazis and his most embarassing moment was having his willy painted blue as a corpse

Report
aloha · 04/11/2005 13:58

Adam said that, not Harry.

Raza Jaffrey, plays Zafar? that gorgeous one?

Ruth needs a makeover in general, bless her. Muddy skin or what? Where's Eve Lom when you need her...
So Angela Thorne is to blame for Mr Penry-Jones then. Actually, there is strong resemblance.

Sorry, no contest Lucy, but this aspect of Peter's career was news to me

I had no idea 'Adam' was her son. How lovely. He's not as good at doing soulful stares into the distance as Tom though. Sigh...

I really wish MI5 was like that (always goodies) but suspect not - remember the files they kept on people like Jack Straw and Mo Mowlem because they were dangerous lefty agitators. ROFL.

There's another Penry-Jones in circulation as well I think

Lucycat · 04/11/2005 14:07

took me a while to come round to the idea of Adam not Tom, but I got there! Tom was a bit more moralistic, I like Adam's ruthless streak!
