Organized school sleepover - anyone done one?

My DD2 (14) wants to organize a sponsored sleepover at her school. So far the staff seem supportive of the idea but she has to draw up a list of rules etc. and submit it formally.

Has anyone's teenager done anything like this before? We need to know what the pitfalls are likely to be...

Well, only experience I have was one organised in junior school for year 3s.Both of mine complained about the noise made in the night by kids sleeping on lilo airbeds- very squeeky apparently.
Obviously at the age no problem with it being a mixed school, but i seem to recall the hall had clear boy/girl areas and same sex changing etc.
otherwise good night had by all with an evening BBQ and hot chocolate.
Not much sleep tho' but then that's the point I suppose.

Thanks iwastooearly. We've found some stuff on the net and obviously there are lots of issues re. insurance etc. Hadn't even thought about them getting changed for bed in front of each other...

DD2 is in Y10 now so the chances of them actually getting any sleep are probably pretty slim. I know one school did a sponsored stayawakeathon which might be a better bet!
