Teenagers

periods- did yours go out of whack when your DD started hers?

My DD (12yo) started her first period early January.

I'm regular as clockwork, 26 days. But this month I'm 3 days OD.

Just wondering if it's because of the excess of female hormones round our house ATM! When I worked closely with 2 other women, we ended up all having our AF at the same time.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Lol, I have experienced it with friends, colleagues and such, but, come to think of it, when dd starter hers, mine started disappearing.

Yes!
DD started in February and I only had periods in Jan, March, May then July and went back to normal after that and now we seem to be quite synchronised!

don't mean to hijack this but-as you all have dd's that have gone through this-is it normal for them to feel like they're going to wet themselves before they actually start them properly? I only ask as dd who's never wet herself before said she gets the feeling she's about to quite alot at the moment. She's already started with the pains.
