oh yes she knows.
lined up before the jury (me and dh) and sentenced ( straight home on bus after school/no after school clubs/mobile phone removed for a fortnight)

Had to inform the school too as she is supposed to sign in for the clubs and they thought she had gone home sick.
see the drama club means she is good at acting

aww she wil be embarassed when she knows you know...is she not allowed around the shops? i think its the lie that is most irritating coupled with fact you thought she was safe and supervised.....shame our children cant have the freedom we had isnt it.

oh yes it is the lying. she is of course trying to test the limit of her freedom
BUT she knew she was not allowed to go out of school
she made up a whole big story about what they did in English club and the stories they are working on( she never attended this club AT ALL)
God knows what might have happenned to them on a really busy road
no-one knew their whereabouts and they are 11 FFS

she is totally out of order. I would give me daughter the rocket as well - she is the same age.

It is so hard when they start lying because it really rocks your trust in them, doesn't it.

oh it really has shaken me GOML. I have explained to her that all she actually had to do was phone me and tell me that she and x were going to the shop or she really didn't want to go to drama any more.Simple.
But no the lie was easier.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

She thinks she is 16 all of a sudden
school not impressed either.LOL

I think it is such a huge change from junior school to high school, you're right they think they are light years older. Does she understand that she has done wrong, or is she being all defensive.

Sounds like a really good punishments you have given her, anyway, and you have also explained that she was being unreasonable, and if she had asked to leave the club and go into town you would have agreed.

Thing is if she wants to be treated like a big girl she has to behave like one and that includes owning up to things and informing you like an adult.

Hope everything works out OK! Few nights of girly moping I reckon

My friends DD came home from french club spouting loads of new french words . My friend thought her money was being well spent on this extra lunch time club . Little monkey hadnt been for weeks and learning the new words off her friend . She was only 7 at the time .
