Pretty boots for a 12-year-old girl??

We seem to have the same problem every time we go to buy shoes/boots: my dd has always had quite big feet for her age (now size 6/39) and the ones she really likes only seem to be in little sizes. This has been especially bad with boots, & in recent years we've bought them from Vertbaudet as we've found nothing she liked in the shops. However, the ones she likes there stop at size 5 & we're really struggling this year. Anyone know a good place, probably on-line, where you can buy boots in this size that are not cowboy-style or riding boots, & that might have eg flowers embroidered down the side or be in purple etc???

Try Pumpkin Patch (www.pumpkinpatch.co.uk), they have some black Russian boots with floral decoration and in larger sizes. Their Urban Angel range is also good for young teenagers. They have some stores in UK and also do online. Are a NZ company that I've been buying from for years in NZ and UK. Usually very good quality, reasonable prices.

Thanks, sdr and mumeeee; I've looked up these websites and printed off some pictures for my dd to consider. It's her birthday in 2 weeks so there should be time to order some for then...

I have the opposite with my 12 yo. Her feet are tiny and she was so desperate to be able to have shoes like her friends instead of ones like her little sisters with flowers and stars etc.

Funny how they're all different, isn't it?? Now dd's at secondary school she's had a rude awakening about having to conform, but boots don't seem to have come under that heading just yet!
