you going to college, 2shoes? or is it for ds?

Obviously, I can't help at all, in any way, but your thread was about to drop out of active convos and we wouldn't want that!

Where are you thinking of 2shoes, local ones? And I guess you'd need to decide what subject(s) first, so you can investigate which ones do what.

it is for ds. As luck would have it my freind is comming over tomorrow. she works in a school and her job is to get sn kids into college so helping ds will be a doddle for her

If you are looking at 6th form colleges, the best place to start is with the careers advisor at school. They will register your child with the local connexions team, and help you sort out brochures, subjects etc.

But I am not sure if that helps as I might have made the wrong assumption.

DD3 is 15 and in year 11. She has had invites to two local colleges open days and knows about a third one as her sister goes there. We are looking at one on Tusday evening. She wants to do Drams. Her school has just started a gatewayto careers cjlub and she has sighned up for that. sShe will have haelp with filling in forms and guiduncw with carers as well as other practical stuff. Your DS's school should be able to help. Does he have any careers Lessons?

Never mind! Guess what? DD2 was in the Argus on Friday, if you've still got it? She was in the article about school dinners right in the middle 2 pages with Momma Cherry. She's in 3 photos & also they quoted her on the second page too. Fame already at 8!

do you want me to keep it for you?

Funny wasn't it? You don't have to keep it, dh got us a couple of copies for posterity, but thanks anyway.
I was just relieved she didn't say anything bad about the dinners coz sometimes she does come home & moan about them. But she told me they 'weren't allowed to'
Good comments only. LOL.
