I have two DDs, one of whom is 12 and one who is 10. DD1 is probably old enough to stay in the house by herself while I work 9-5, but DD2 is a bit young. This holiday both have been going to a sporty holiday club. DD1 hates it as nobody there is her age, but DD2 doesn't mind it as much. I would like to leave DD1 at home to save her the bordom of the holiday club, but DD2 is adament she won't go to the club without her sister. What should I do?

Thing is, DD2 will have to go to the holiday club for at least another 18 months, and I can't bribe ber each time

But she is younger and so must have differebt boundaries.

"DD once you are twelve, you can stay at home. Until then, you need to go to Holiday Club". And take her.

Not for this summer as too late but could you get an au pair next summer? Many people want to for just 2 months in summer and then they would be around and could go with both places when needed or just be an adult set of eyes at home. Around £80 a week
