My DH is a size 13 and it is hell buying them.

Have you tried Brantano as they do have a large section which goes up to size 14 I think.

Might be wrong but M & S might stock size 13 shoes on their website.

Not much help, but good luck!

Try online shopping

well yes but that's not always going to work really because he is still growing and his feet are always changing shape etc.
it is what i will do as a last option but really, he needs to try the shoes on as other children do.

Yikes! Hope his feet stop growing soon!

Just checked and M & S do stock size 13 online.

My DH always amuses me because he'll try some shoes on then complain his feet look big Hmm

What does he expect Grin

I have the same problem with my son and husband (both size 14). Thinking of just buying them black cardboard boxes to wear instead!

Just have a look online and you'll find something.

Order these in a few sizes and return the ones that don't fit properly. Measuring can be done in store before ordering.

I also have a 13 year old with size 13 feet. This year his school shoes came from M&S and his DC skater shoes from Sports Direct. Last year SD didn't have anything in his size and we ended up finding something in a shop in Camden. Sometimes it is just the luck of the draw. Also keeping fingers crossed that his feet don't grow anymore. His twin has smaller feet which is keeping me partly sane. It would be a nightmare if they both had the same size feet as they have different tastes and finding two sets in size 13-14 would be difficult.

Another vote for Brantano.

Also try TKMaxx... ds has had some lovely shoes and boots from there over the years (size 13)

My DS is in a 12. Has been since he was 13. He is now 15 and seems to have stayed the same foot size. luckily.

His school shoes are from Clarks. Mens of course, not childrens. He got one pair - they are wide fit too. I saw them again in the online sale so snapped up a second pair to wear this next school year.

It's tricky.

I know this thread is old ... but I've just ordered a pair of size 13 football boots for my 13 year old boy too ... am persuading him that his other school trainers and school shoes do still fit as I simply can't afford to replace them all in one go ... because I'll also need to replace his walking boots and his weekend trainers too. It's so galling that we have to pay VAT on these, even though he's still a kid ... albeit one that is as tall lying down as he is standing up. Poor love.

Shop around!

Pod theo are great school shoes
Vans go up to a 15 for casual shoes

He's all grown up now and lives in vans pretty much
