Just watching that program.

How shocking!!!!!!!

How did they got their drivers license?
They drive so unbelievable dangerous.

But the program makes it all sound funny.
What have these parents been doing when their kids were kids. Not being a responsible parent by the look of things.

My kids are young, but when they are older and I'd see them drive like that.
Not a change in HELL I'd even remotely think about letting them drive in my car again. Let alone think about giving them a car!!!!!!!

They've no sense of safety or responsibly what so ever!!!!

Then that woman, that traffic officer!??!?!?!?!?
That she thinks about giving them a car???
Or stuff like:
There're times that you're a good driver?!!?

What has that got to do with it?
You're only as good as the mistakes that you make. He made the decision to drink and he knew he had to drive back. It was the team of the program that stopped him. If they didn't he'd have been behind the wheel with twice the limit of alcohol that's allowed!!!!!

They were all smiling about it.

I'd be like how about working for some time with victims of car accidents and witness the funeral of someone who has been killed in a car accident caused by a drink driver.

The boy in the program needs to take some driving lessons.

But the girl who has been so furious and irresponsible behind the wheel. Did got a car because her last drive was better!?!?!??!
Also she promised not to use her phone anymore while driving.

Serious, how stupid and an irresponsible parent can you be?

I personally have got a zero tolerance with people like that. Just behave on the road. Not worth putting your own or someone else's life on the line. Just because you want to go faster or you need to be somewhere on time.

Most of the time things go well, but if they don't....
Accidents happen, but to many people have been victims in road accidents caused by a driver that was under influence or driving very dangerous on the road.

I saw one episode last week.

Dreadful. DD who's 16 and desperate to get lessons when she's 17 was loving it. We can't afford to put her on our insurance. Why do so many people still buy their 17YO's a car Confused - so dangerous and there's often no need anyway.

That programme is shocking.

This is a message from Transport for London.

As part of our new young drivers road safety campaign we have produced a new advert to advise young people not to speed, or drive too fast for the road that they are on:

Watch here

In 2012, 4,684 people in London were injured in collisions involving young drivers.

We urge young drivers to stay focused and not show off for their friends on the road.

You may not realise, but young people can learn some driving habits from other road users.

So we are urging young people: "Kill your speed and not your mates".

DD now 17 is now insured to drive our car as a learner. She's appalled by this programme.

Rightly she should be!

Here's what some other young people had to say
