I'm so bloody angry .

It's taken ages for ds2 to get himself a bit of confidence and independence and now some little sh*t has taken it away from him.

He was threatened and punched in the face by an older youth. He managed to get away but is really shaken.

ffs. Your poor ds. Does he have any idea who it was?

That's awful. Have you informed the Police?

Yes, called the police at 5.20, guess what? As of yet no sign.

Dh went out to look for the youth, found him and spoke to his grandfather who dh happens to know. He admitted to dh - he hit him just for the fun of it.

I worry when my DS does his round as it is near a 'rival' school and you see the kids sat around. DS is quite big for his age which worries me sometimes that older kids will think he is their age too. He is very strong though so probably could fight back. Must admit as the round isnt too huge i often take him on it straight from school..especially in winter

poor soul. that is outrageous
I hope it doesn't knock his confidence too much and he gets back out there despite them.

That really is awful potty. Did the police ever turn up and what action did they take?

They came a couple of days later Marina. Went round to have a 'chat' with the youth but haven't taken it any further - it was what ds2 wanted. Personally I'd have had him dragged off in handcuffs but there you go!

It's knocked his confidence quite badly and we're still 'riding shotgun' with him when he does that particular street

I hope his confidence is rebuilt soon. Doesn't help that it's dark at this time now.
At least they did something I suppose...
