2nd rabbit litter training

We have introduced a 2nd rescue rabbit to our lovely (clean litter tray using) rabbit. The new rabbit seems to have decided that it is a challenge to wee and poo in as many places as possible. I accept that he may be marking his territory, but are we ever going to be able to get him to use the same litter tray as the other rabbit, or his own litter tray. The two rabbits do spend a lot of time together, but poo separately.

You're right that its territorial and it should be easy to litter train the rabbit as usual once they've settled down, or he may do it himself, particularly if neutered.

I've had previously scrupulously litter trained bunnies do this when moving to a new area, even though no other bunnies have been introduced and it always happens when a newbie is introduced and easily sorted once things have settled.
