I went on Ebay and got loads of guinea related stuff for her Christmas stocking gifts-
Fridge magnets
Window stickers
A "24 Hour Cavie Slave" wall hanging
Christmas Cards

There was more...
The only thing I was Hmm at was a set of cupcake toppers with GPs on them. How could they Shock

Oh 70 what a perfect treat, and to have a little helper to cuddle with you as well - what a great start to Mother's Day - very envious, nothing quite beats a whiskery little face in the morning...........!!

Grin guineapiglet I often have 2 little visitors at the weekend (the hogs are in the room next to DH and I).
During the week they are out before DD comes downstairs.

Luckily they don't wee on my bed (yet).

When I'm having a bath, DD pushes GP1 into the bathroom and says "Who would be so careless to leave a GP on the floor"

GP1 sits judgily "I know this room. There's a bath in here. I'm a cavy Get Me Out Of Here "

Oh, those are smashing! Are they made from real dog fur, or better yet, from guinea pig fur? I'm still looking for someone to spin my collection of GP1's fur, which I've been collecting for a couple of years. Yes, I know! Because the strands are pretty short, I've been told it might be better for felting than for wool. Has anyone else made anything out of cavy fur?

He had a haircut last night, and here's the result!

He actually had an op today to remove a mammary tumour - all went well and he's go some impressive staples running down one side, which nearly made DH faint!

Kritiq - you are an absolte hoot - I have been chuckling all morning - firstly at DBoar1's face, he looks how my son looks when he has had the clippers on him, and secondly at his little friend, who is almost as big as he is!

Not sure where you live, but I so want to come round and cuddle the recovering guinea, I shall be think of him today and hope he is up and about and eating/poohing as expected, bless him..., he really is a one off isnt he.
Love to you. X

Ah, thanks for the other thread and glad you liked the "mini me" photo! :)

I'm near Edinburgh btw. Wondering how impossible a guineapigmumsnet meet up would be?
