Friends needed to rehome him, they had too many animals, not enough time.

He's an 18 month old dark grey lop with a White nose and feet. He's housetrained and fluffy and gorgeous. He's used to guinea pigs and we have 2 lovely friendly girls who like rabbits.

And he's called Speedy Macreadie!!

We have just taken over 2 bunnies, 5 months old from a woman who had 'got bored' of them - and didn't want to innoculate or castrate them Sad

We have no idea what they are, except the vet says they are very big for their age - so we are wondering if they were a result of a mismating with a Giant Dwarf.

DD is madly in love with them, and they already come to her when called! MuttDog seems to think they are her puppies and gets in their hutch with them. DH build them a HUGE hutch and safe run/play area. They will be very spoilt pets who we hope eventually will have the run of the garden.

(They are both boys, but after their op last week DD announced that "They are girls now, I've checked" Blush)

Introduction to guinea girlies has gone well. They're all lying in a heap in the sun in the indoor hutch!

weegie you have't put them all in the same hutch or run have you? don't want to cause alarm but piggies and bunnies have different dietry needs with dry food etc also i know from early experience that even a docile rabbit can have a silly moment and seriously injure their smaller house mate, and also take the 'rabbits' share of the food, breeders nor do vets agree in general with the together housing. i'm sure you'll be fine though, just be mindful.

No they're spending a couple of hours together but will generally be housed and fed separately. I'm a (fairly) experienced GP breeder and I know how to deal with it, don't worry. I just want them to be friendly if we have them all in the house together! They all had a nice doze in the sun now gps are out on the nice dry grass and rabbit is curled up on my lap!

weegie - where are you that you have dry grass? I haven't has that for ages - my poor piggies have to take their exercise in the conservatory (not that they're bothered).

I have 2 pigs and a housebun and whilst they live separately, they do play together sometimes which is funny to watch. Love the name of yours - hope you have lots of fun with him!
