just observing my hamsters running on top of their wheels, holding onto the
bars with one hand and running. neither have had a wheel so its all new :)

today went for a nice long stroll with DD in buggy and DS2 - 5mins into the journey i had DD walking along side me and the pup had hoped into the buggy for a rest! people walking down the road found it quite amusing Grin

yesterday my rabbit managed to get up onto my DS's bed and chest of drawers. shes got a few boxes laying about to play in but is only interested in jumping in boxes full with stuff in! Confused

they make me smile Grin

My ham used to do that when he was small. Used to make me chuckle too. I don't think he's ready to expire but he's definitely a little more considered in his acrobatics now. We got him as kids went back to school last year.

Bet the puppy thought he was onto a winner!

my 1st hamster used to do chin ups at the top of the cage :) can watch their acrobatics all day.

was funny, DD was evicting pup out of the buggy when she needed a rest - then when she got out, pup jumped in lol Grin she loved being pushed in the buggy. she like a child, she runs up the ramp and goes down the slide with DD and likes to sit on my lap when we are on the swings :)

Ha ha! Yes ours liked to hang off the top monkey bars style. He still shins up side of cage and then tries to set himself swinging to launch himself at his sputnik suspended bed! I'm not being mean to the old lad either, he can go through the tubes above the cage but he likes a good shortcut. You always know when he's up from the thud when he just throws himself overboard out of bed!

That's reassuring to know they can make 2 years. Ours was meant to be a stop gap pet as ds was desperate for a puppy and we had a old cat pts last august. We are hoping to start looking for a puppy in the next couple of weeks once I've confirmed 'maternity' leave with work! I only do 2 days and my mum is going to have the dog but I want a couple of weeks settling in before this starts. I never expected to love the hamster so much though. He's such a character and reminds me of a little puppy craving attention. If he sees you he bounces around until you open up the cage for a fuss!

my 1st one used to bounce around when i walked past :)

same here, i didnt realise i'd get so attached to her, i got so upset when she passed at just 11mths :(

my old girl 'hope' is doing well, she has thinning fur so give her more bedding to keep her warm and she doesnt eat much. you wouldnt think with all the energy she has Grin she even dives off the sofa Shock

Ahh bless her. Ours still has nice thick fur and is like a rocket when he's on the sofa too. I hope we've got a little while yet.
